The next thrilling chapter of Disney Lorcana is nearly here! Reign of Jafar, the eighth major Lorcana release, arrives in local game stores on 30th May 2025 and launches worldwide on 6th June 2025.
We first caught a glimpse of Reign of Jafar back in January alongside Archazia’s Island, but now the full product line-up has been revealed – and there’s plenty to get excited about.
As with every Lorcana set, Reign of Jafar introduces two brand-new starter decks:
The Amber/Amethyst deck looks to be fast and aggressive, aiming to race opponents to 20 Lore as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, Ruby/Steel is shaping up as a control-style archetype, focusing on Challenges and strategic banishing rather than traditional Lore gain.
We can’t wait to see the full decklists – the ink pairings and character choices promise some exciting new strategies!
Palace Heist brings a new twist to the popular Illumineer's Quest series. This time, players are sneaking into Jafar’s palace to steal back the reforged Hexwell Crown before he becomes all-powerful.
You can tackle the heist solo or team up with friends. With four battlegrounds to choose from, the difficulty is adjustable to suit casual and competitive players alike.
Alongside the decks and Quest set, you’ll find the usual range of Lorcana goodies:
There’s no separate Gift Set this time around – Palace Heist fills that role beautifully as the premium offering for Reign of Jafar.
