Shuffling Up In Store – What Our TCG Events Are All About

There’s something genuinely brilliant about playing face-to-face.

Online play has its perks, sure—but nothing beats the buzz of sitting across the table from someone, cards in hand, dice ready, and the game unfolding right there between you. That’s exactly what our in-store events are all about—bringing people together to enjoy the games we love in a friendly, relaxed space.

If you’ve not joined us for a session yet, here’s a little taste of what you’re missing.

What’s Happening In Store

We run regular sessions for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, and Disney Lorcana alongside many other TCGs— fantastic games with very different flavours, but all best enjoyed in person.

• Magic: The Gathering nights are full of creativity and big plays. Commander is especially popular—social, chaotic, and great fun. We also run Thursday and Friday Night Magic and other special events, perfect for anyone who enjoys a good strategic battle.
• Pokémon TCG Saturdays are our Pokemon days - Pokemon is ideal for players of all ages. Whether you’re brand new or returning after a break, it’s a great way to get involved, meet other Trainers, and enjoy the game in a welcoming setting.
• Disney Lorcana has quickly found its feet in store. With stunning artwork and clever gameplay, it’s been lovely seeing so many new Illumineers join the fold. Whether you’re here to collect, play, or both, our Monday Lorcana nights are growing fast.

Why Join Us?

We often hear people say, “I’m not sure I know the rules well enough” or “I don’t have anyone to play with.” That’s exactly why we run these events—to give players of all experience levels a place to play, learn, and enjoy the game.

There’s no pressure and no need to be competitive (unless you want to be!). Just friendly games, helpful faces, and a good atmosphere. We’ve got space to sit, decks to borrow if you need one, and staff on hand to help out if you’re learning.

Plus, there are little perks along the way—promo cards, loyalty points, and the occasional prize support.
